Hi! My name is Oliver Aguilar and since I can remember I've always wanted to make an impact on people and I quickly discovered by helping others I could make the biggest impact of all.
My biggest achievements to date are hearing clients stories of realisations and experiences they have gained from coming to therapy. My satisfaction stems from peoples betterment and to me there is no better reward than to see others succeed through their unique trials and tribulations. Thus, I began a long career into the field of psychotherapy and counselling in 2013, during that time I got a BA (Double major in psychology and counselling), a Graduate Diploma in counselling and psychotherapy and finally a Masters in counselling and psychotherapy.
During my studies, I volunteered for a myriad of diverse not-for-profit organisations such as the City of Swan, Angelhands, Cancer Council, Cyrenian House and Injury Matters. I have extensive experience in trauma, grief/bereavement and relationship counselling through these organisations. Although, my skill set is not limited to these specific areas.
As a registered PACFA member and a qualified Psychotherapist and Counsellor, I decided to pursue my private practice to diversify the individuals I would see and challenge myself further in running and operating a private practice here in Perth.

How We Work
We help people see the world with different eyes internally, externally and all around. Everyone's experience of this is distinct and unique but the most profound is a feeling of being liberated.
Using various psychotherapy methods and collaborative treatment measures, we help our clients develop habits that change their behaviour to cope with life's many obstacles.
Our sessions are designed to explore and investigate personal issues and provide clients with effective tools to help them experience themselves in a different light.

Therapy is often a long-term process and as such requires a personal commitment. We make phone contact to all new clients prior to our first session to discuss the way we practice, the length of the phone call is approximately 10 minutes.
